Die Millerntor Gallery #15 bot uns zum zweiten Mal die Chance im legendären Stadion des FC St. Pauli zu landen.

Als Motiv nahmen wir uns den Schädel unseres Widersachers Dr. Z vor.
Die Idee: Nachvollziehbar machen, wie es im Kopf eines Kunstdiebes ausschaut — hohl nämlich. Nebenbei betrachtet ist so ein Totenkopf ja auch das Logo des Vereins, auch eine gute Verbindung.

Nach der Findungsphase ging die Planung los. Unter Einbeziehung des Überstands über das Geländer, war klar, das Teil wird über 4 Meter hoch. Die Grundkonstruktion aus Holz und einem Boden aus Paletten, wurde größtenteils mit Abschnitten aus Bootsbausperrholz und Pappe verkleidet. Auch der Hut bekam durch Sperrholz den Look eines zerrockten Strohhutes.

Final wurde der Schädel von Hera bemalt. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle für die Unterstützung!

Zusätzlich gibt es übrigens eine kleine Print-Edition mit einer Illustration des Kopfes.

The Millerntor Gallery # 15 offered us the second time the chance to land in the legendary Stadium of the FC St. Pauli.

As a motive we took the head of our adversary Dr. Z. The idea: to make it comprehensible how it looks in the head of a thieve of art. And by the way, a skull is also the logo of the resident club, also a good connection.

The basic construction of wood and a floor of pallets was largely clad with sections of boat building plywood and cardboard. The hat also got the look of a dried straw hat by plywood.
